Overview & Responsibilities
This is a work from any location position.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for the delivery of virtual classroom content. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training on employees. May be involved in classroom and content design.
50% Delivery of Training:
Delivers virtual training on a variety of corporate training initiatives.
Comfortable with virtual delivery mediums like WebEx and Adobe Connect.
Clearly conveys and seeks information and ideas in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
Demonstrates content knowledge – comprehends and facilitates content well enough for learners to understand and apply it.
Provides clear directions for learning activities and exercises.
Encourages learner involvement.
Uses a variety of tone and inflection when delivering content to emphasize key points and engage learners.
25% Content Mastery:
Ensures mastery of new content material.
Reviews new content with learning manager and stakeholder.
Gains clarity of new content learning objectives and interactions.
Certifies content mastery with stakeholders prior to training go-live.
Maintains content mastery of existing classes reviewing content prior to delivery.
15% Course Follow-Up
Responds to attendees unanswered questions via e-mail.
Communicates system issues/errors to host and training leaders.
Reviews survey data and addresses any responses necessary with team.
10% Project Work:
- Provides project support as needed, including but not limited to Instructor Led Training.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.
HS diploma or equivalent required.
Four years’ experience in training development and training delivery.
Operations/management experience is preferred.
Funeral industry knowledge or experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Works well independently and remotely.
Communicates effectively with attendees, business stakeholders and colleagues.
Competent in the use of virtual classroom technology.
Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
