Overview & Responsibilities

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supports the development of policies and a procedure related to the corporate recruiting functions and is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the corporate recruiters and coordinators within these functions. Provides the day-to-day supervision of the corporate recruiting coordinators as well as provide on-going training and coaching to develop the team of recruiters. Also responsible for assisting with process definition and improvement and related projects to ensure the effectiveness and high service delivery of the team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSBILITIES

100% Develop and Manage Effective Corporate Recruiting Program

  • Supervises the day-to-day tasks and operations of the Corporate Recruiting functions using a variety of tools and reports to ensure a consistent level of high quality service, candidates, and follow-up is being delivered.

  • Provides ongoing coaching and training to further the development of the recruiters; identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate bridge opportunities that promote innovation, partnerships, and results.

  • Manages all third party direct hire agency contracts including master service level agreements.

  • Assists with recruiting corporate positions at or above the Director level.

  • Develops appropriate knowledge of various recruitment landscapes to effectively develop ongoing recruiting strategies in a cost effective and efficient manner.

  • Develops and fosters relationships with business units and hiring managers to build consultative partnerships.

  • Maintains ownership of the Applicant Tracking System and related workflows, functionality, reporting and security.

  • Compiles employment related tracking, metrics reports and analysis of the results and recommends improvements as needed to meet business goals (example metrics include time-to-fill, time-to-submit, conversion rates, drop-off rate, quality of hire, recruitment sourcing ROI, etc.)

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience:

  • Three (3) years in a corporate recruiting environment directly supervising recruiters and recruiting support staff

  • Five (5) years recruiting experience within an agency or corporate setting, including market trend analysis and cutting-edge sourcing techniques

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in behavioral interviewing

  • Strong initiative, high energy, strong sense of urgency and the ability to handle many projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid organizational and problem solving skills

  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

  • Experience using one or more Applicant Tracking Systems
