Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for data entry and electronic tracking of files; creating files according to company standards (numbering, labeling, scanning, organizing); and retrieving and returning files to the Records Department. Additional duties include responding to requests by delivering boxed files received from off-site facility. Individual will handle special projects as assigned.
100% Administrative Support
Managing and controlling computerized filing records system.
Retrieving and organizing legal files.
Scanning paper files for electronic storage.
Maintains records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed.
May perform filing duties in conjunction with specific customer requests.

Requirements & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Two-Three (2-3) years of experience in records management or equivalent experience in a related field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook) and other computer programs
Possess a mastery of alphabetical, numerical and chronological sequencing
Previous records management experience with demonstrated knowledge of filing procedures and techniques in a legal environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to organize and prioritize
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
Demonstrate a professional approach to work, respect for confidentiality, willingness to learn and a great attitude.

Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
Standard business dress is required.
